Growing too fast!

Here they are together playing dress up. Gosh they are cute. Allison is growing so fast and is such a blessing. She is helpful and intelligent. Most of the time she is thinking of her sister. Even though the age span they get along together so well and look out for each other. Amaris turned 2 in August. She decided to pick up her spoon and take a bite of the whole cake. It was pretty cute. Both Grandparents were there to celebrate. This was G&G Stone's first trip to our new home in Marion, IL. It was fun and exciting.

Here is Allison getting ready for her first Upward Cheerleading game. She was pretty excited about doing this again. In the last month of Upward Amaris has begun doing cheers too. She will say "Ready, OK. (then wiggle and kick her feet) and say"Upward, Upward."
More things that have happened this summer is that Shane is down 50 lbs and you can see it here. Yes you may have to turn your head sorry, but look at his profile. He is wearing one of his smaller shirts and now it is roomy on him. He has gone down 2 sizes in pants and almost 3 sizes in shirts. He looks great. I have gone down 2 sizes in pants and 3 sizes in shirts, with just a 20lb weight loss.

Allison is growing she is 57lbs and almost 4ft tall. Amaris is 28lbs and is 32 inches tall. Amaris has gone from a size 4.5 shoe in July to a 6.5 now needing a 7 in some shoes. They grow so fast.
We will be going to Florida-Disney, SeaWorld, etc. for Allison's birthday.
More pictures to come, Allison decided to get her hair cut again.

Changes

Gosh these kids keep getting so big. I took these today and look at them. Allison is a little over 5 yrs and is so smart. She loves stories and movies with music. She is singing ALL the time and making up her own songs. She is learning to read and spell and sometimes we don't want Amaris to hear a word and Allison says it cause we spelled it.( like fruit after dinner or going outside) Amaris is almost 19 1/2 months old. She is talking so well everyday. But her comprehension is amazing. She really likes doggies/puppies and she calls them "Ruff, ruff". She is also potty training and does not like a dirty diaper on her, I don't blame her. She stops whatever she is doing and says "diaper". Sometimes after it has happened sometime before. She knows she is cute and when people smile at her and say it then Amaris smiles back a tips her head as to pose for her audience. She is still pretty shy to people and doesn't like to leave Mom or Dad unless Allison is around or she really knows the people she is with. She loves shoes and whoevrs she can find to put on. Amaris is a big copier of Allison and Allison is helping me out with things like unloading groceries or loading the dryer or unloading the dishwasher or setting the table, Amaris has to do it all too. It is really cute watching her set the table she has to get on her tip toes to put the plates up there and then runs around the table to get another plate from me. So it doesn't really help me but it is cute to watch.

Shane has been working a lot lately with his aircraft as well as helping out in the region. He has been helping with diaster relief chainsaw crew clearing trees south of here where there was the ice storm a month ago. I am still up to my elbows with art projects. We have just finished painting the front room and the last touches in the kitchen till one day we get new countertops and cabinets. I am making Easter dresses for the girls and have been enjoying crocheting. I am still a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and enjoy my classes. I have been trying to catch up in my scrapbook albums. i just need to learn not to take so many pictures.

Shane and I have been trying to loose weight. Shane has lost 20lbs and I have lost 15lbs since middle of Jan.

God has blessed us with so many wonderfull friends here in Marion. I can't believe we have been here a year all ready.

Update

In the past 3 weeks we have all gotten sick at some point. Allison had a 24 hour thing and a week later Shane and I got it at the same time. Not fun. Amaris has been a trooper. She has had a runny nose and off and on teething ailments but has been happy still.

Amaris is growing so much. Her vocabulary has increased so much. She can say Momma, DaDa and Aaashon which is Allison, all done, more, owwee, uh-oh, something that sounds like "i love you", Everyday she finds more words to say.

they grow so fast.

Christmas away from home

Well Allison, Amaris and I went to Oregon for Christmas. We were there from the 14th to the 24th. I was hoping for some time with family and friends and the weather got a lot of plans foiled. I was able to make it to my grandparents thankfully. We had TOO much snow for Oregon to deal with. I am use to the snow in the Midwest. I didn't have boots for the kids and no snow suits for them either. My luggage was delayed for 24 hours so I didn't even have coats for the kids till then. My flights were delayed 2 hours leavingmy destination cities.

I had a great time with my family and got to see my new neice Micaela. I had a great time for my birthday too. Stuck in the house wasn't too bad but I could tell when I got to Iowa I wanted to get out. So for our next Christmas's we were in Iowa at Shane's parents and grandparents. Shane met us there on the 24th. We saw the whole family and avoided the flu while we were away from home. We came home on January 1st.
